Landscape & Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)

Our method for landscape and visual impact assessment is well established and is undertaken on the basis of detailed methodologies prepared and updated by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), the Landscape Institute (LI) and the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) and other related organisations and agencies.

The methodology requires the separate assessment of landscape and visual impacts as two discrete but related areas of assessment. It is critical to the assessment that it is undertaken by suitably qualified and experienced professionals with the experience to read and understand the landscape and make appropriate professional judgements.

Major Projects include

  • Whitecross SIRR –Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
  • Trump International Golf Links Scotland - Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment
