Landscapes for people and communities is a strong theme within sustainable greenspace which seeks to develop best practice by linking social inclusion, training, biodiversity, local ownership & participatory appraisal, creating new more sustainable and multi-user landscapes that offer real local value and address need. Engaging local communities through Participatory Appraisal and supporting Local Biodiversity (LBAP) and Resource Valuation are key components. Specialist landscape teams experienced in participatory appraisal, consultation, inclusion agenda, health & well being are delivering projects through New Deal,Lottery Funding, Community Trusts & Urban Renewal / Environmental Partnerships & SIP Partnerships.
