Sustainable Urban Drainage or SUDS is an approach to drainage aimed at achieving the Scottish Environment Protection Agency / Environmental Agency's goals of improving the quality and quantity of surface water run-off from development sites. Ironside Farrar have prepared a number of comprehensive SUDS strategies, detailed designs, tender documentation packages and provided site supervision for implementation schemes for a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential development projects. Techniques including infiltration trenches, dry basins, wet detention ponds and porous paving have been utilised and working relationships established with SEPA / EA, drainage, highway and planning authorities. Detailed design is undertaken in-house, utilising industry standard software modelling systems and schemes can be presented utilising high quality graphics capabilities.Signage and Maintenance.
