We currently have opportunities within the practice for a Graduate Landscape Architect, and a Graduate Civil Engineer working out of our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.


the opportunity:

Our multi award-winning Landscape Design Team is seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Graduate Landscape Architect with an interest in the design and delivery of a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects, including sustainably led urban regeneration/ public realm/ streetscape/ civic space/ greenspace, parks & campus design throughout Scotland.

Working in our head office, as part of our Landscape Design Team, we are seeking an individual with excellent communication and graphic skills, real design flair and commitment, who brings enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ approach. Our workload is interesting and challenging. We lead a wide range of projects supporting regeneration and sustainable placemaking; delivered through innovative approaches to design, consultation and engagement. Our workload extends from feasibility studies/ design strategies/ concept designs through to detailed/ technical design & construction. Recent and current sustainable placemaking projects include:

We are seeking graduate applicants with strong graphic and design flair and capabilities in industry standard software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and graphic design tools (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Affinity)

As a Graduate Civil Engineer working with us, you will be working in a supportive and encouraging Engineering firm, who invests in their staff and provides an environment that is flexible, supports professional development through to chartership and nurtures and encourages talent.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with clients based throughout Scotland. You will be given hands-on support, encouragement and guidance to be the best you can be in order to carry out your duties.

Working closely with the design team, you will be covering various work within Infrastructure Design team, including Roads design, Drainage Design and Earthworks platforming/ levels design. Other duties will include, but won’t be limited to:
