SENIOR CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER (Manchester)

The Opportunity


Ironside Farrar are looking for an ambitious Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our successful development engineering team, based in Manchester. Predominantly working for our key clients in the developer sector.

The successful candidate is likely to have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role, with the ability to plan, deliver and manage workload to ensure delivery of multiple design projects to tight deadlines. Applications are welcome from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.

FLOOD RISK CONSULTANT / DRAINAGE ENGINNER (Manchester)

The Opportunity


Ironside Farrar are looking for a Flood Risk Consultant / Drainage Engineer to join our team, based in Manchester. The role offers the opportunity for an ambitious person to lead the delivery of flood risk and drainage assessments for key clients in the developer sector in the UK. Working predominantly in the Manchester office whilst also supporting teams in Scotland to promote the growth of our flood risk services.

The successful candidate is likely to have 8+ years’ experience, and ability to deliver full range of flood risk / drainage design services to predominantly private sector clients. Applications are welcome from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances. This includes those looking for a different challenge, a change from public to private sector, and the opportunity to join an independent consultancy involved in professionally fulfilling work.

GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER

As a Graduate Civil Engineer working with us, you will be working in a supportive and encouraging Engineering firm, who invests in their staff and provides an environment that is flexible, supports professional development through to chartership and nurtures and encourages talent.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with clients based throughout Scotland. You will be given hands-on support, encouragement and guidance to be the best you can be in order to carry out your duties.

Working closely with the design team, you will be covering various work within Infrastructure Design team, including Roads design, Drainage Design and Earthworks platforming/ levels design. Other duties will include, but won’t be limited to:
