We currently have opportunities within the practice for a Town Planner and a Civil and Urban Design Engineer working out of our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

TOWN PLANNER, EDINBURGH

The successful candidate will become an integral part of our established and growing team delivering all aspects of Town Planning consultancy services to a range of clients. You will support the delivery of robust planning advice, planning applications (incl. all supporting documentation), consultation, appeals and site assessments for a variety of small to Major/National scale projects (incl. Residential; Commercial; Mixed Use, Healthcare, Education, R&D; with work across Science/Innovation and Enterprise Campuses) whilst also supporting the planning needs of other teams within our multidisciplinary consultancy.

CIVIL and URBAN DESIGN ENGINEER, GLASGOW

We are seeking a Civil Engineer within our Glasgow-based mixed-discipline Engineering, Environment and Landscape team, advancing project design and detailing across a variety of urban Civil Engineering, Active Travel and Environmental Improvement projects throughout Scotland. The ideal candidate will have confident written and verbal communication skills, able to offer CAD and allied skills with capacity to grow and learn further in a team environment.

Useful experience can include the use of 3d design software (PDS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D). The successful candidate will operate within a mixed-discipline office team of 7, with work to include outline and detailed design of urban improvements and Active Travel projects, roads, drainage and earthworks schemes, preparation of contract documentation including specifications and drawings and support to site based implementation teams. Experience with NEC 3 and/or 4 contracts will be useful

Candidates will have a Civil Engineering qualification with around 5-8 years' experience in a UK based Consulting Engineers. The practice is an Equal Opportunities Employer and offers internal and external professional training and CPD. We are registered with the ICE to provide structured training and routes to chartership. We are currently WFH with a view to adopting hybrid home and workplace operations in due course.
